We made ice cream. In a ziploc bag! It's super easy, super fun, sort of messy, but super delicious. And it goes like this: In a quart-size ziploc bag, mix 2 Tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 1 cup half and half. Seal tightly. Put the quart-size bag into a gallon-size ziploc bag along with some ice and about 1/2 cup salt. Seal tightly. Now shake! And shake some more. For about 5 minutes or so. Remove the quart-size bag and wipe the salt off the outside. Open and enjoy!
