The south of Iceland was rainy. Really rainy. Which made hikes a little less comfortable, and the RVs a little more crowded. (Wet clothes hanging off every available surface, hoping they would dry.) But, there's always a bright side. The rainy weather really didn't matter when it came to hiking behind waterfalls. And if it weren't for the rain, we may not have seen the puffins. You see, puffins fish all day and come back to nest at night. But in the rain they come home from fishing to seek shelter. Lucky for us. Lucky to have rain.

And when it got too bad to watch the puffins outside, Grampa had his spotting scope set up inside.
