We're finally starting to hang things on the walls! I don't know why this is such a hard thing for me. I guess it just seems so permanent. I mean, what if I change my mind? Then there would be a (gasp!) hole in the wall! Tragic, right? But we've done it. We've put holes in the walls and I'm happy about it.
This hangs in the kitchen. The print is from Hatch Show Print – we picked it up on our road trip to Nashville two years ago. The little cork strip is something I picked up while shopping on the chocolate walk last weekend. I think it will be a nice home for weekly menus and recipes. (If we ever manage to be that organized!)

You should definitely make whatever that chocolate thing is. And spaetzle. :)
I'm taking off of Kristin's post----Do you have Aunties spaetzle recipe? I had forgoten about that but it used to be one of my kids favorites and easy to whip up. I know I have it if you need it. She gave me some gadget to make them that was sure a lot easier than a slotted spoon. I think I am going to try an updated version with a little lighter influence; some grape tomatoes, onions and olive oil and maybe a little sausage or beans. Thanks for the idea and reminder. if only I had something that would keep it on my mind like the post it strip!
I love that picture - I think I need to make something similar for our wall, I'll always looking info like that up while cooking.
I know how you feel about holes in the wall. It just shouldn't be that big a deal. Glad to see you've overcome it. Love your wall and I still want to try spaetzle if you or Kristin ever make a batch big enough to share. I, too, am looking at the tower of brownies in that picture!
Auntie gave me a spaetzle maker and her recipe, but I've never made it! And I have no good reason why. I'm putting it on the next weekly menu!
I have that same poster from Hatch Show Print! I got mine when they spoke at the very first Design Madison meeting. Hope you are well!
